Join me outside, grabbing the light inside a brief passage of paint. Working the shapes, squinting at the values, following the perspective, futzing with the horizon line, floating in the ‘zone’, drinking water, wiping paint on my clothes, grasping the shadows while they move and shift and change.

I’ll be tucked in, just off the trail, with a nice chunk of shade and a composition view that sparks my imagination.
